In an Avengers scene, Hawkeye and Black Widow reference a moment in the past they shared about Budapest.  This could possibly be a refernce to Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 1, Episode 7 scene where the vampire Darla talks to Angel about their time spent in Budapest.  Both sets of characters have clearly had a a sketchy yet significant past together.  For both sets of characters, talking about Budapest signals a time different from what it is now.

I noticed this. It’s a Whedon word, like Shawarma, creeps into all the things he writes and he wonders if anyone notices as he giggles to himself in the corner.
